Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and creative ServiceNow Portal Designer to join our team and take the lead in designing intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing portals within the ServiceNow platform. As a ServiceNow Portal Designer, you will collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and developers, to understand requirements and design customized portals that streamline processes, enhance user experience, and drive engagement. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your design expertise and contribute to the transformation of our ServiceNow user interface into a modern and efficient portal solution.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand user needs, and define portal design objectives and goals.
Design and prototype ServiceNow portals, leveraging best practices in user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design to create intuitive and visually appealing layouts.
Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders.
Customize portal themes, layouts, and stylesheets to align with branding guidelines and enhance the overall visual identity of the organization.
Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal user experience across various devices and screen sizes.
Collaborate with ServiceNow developers to implement portal designs, providing guidance and support throughout the development process.
Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iteratively refine and improve portal designs based on user insights and data analytics.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UI/UX design and ServiceNow platform capabilities.
Document design decisions, patterns, and guidelines to ensure consistency and maintainability of portal designs.
Provide training and support to end-users and administrators on portal functionality, customization options, and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on designing web-based applications and portals.
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar software for creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
Strong understanding of UI design principles, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
Experience with front-end web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to customize and style web interfaces.
Familiarity with ServiceNow platform or similar enterprise software platforms is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality design solutions that meet user needs and business objectives.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Portfolio showcasing examples of portal designs, UI/UX projects, or related work is required.
