Job Description
• Manage, oversee, track and updated large complex projects, including the schedule and deliverables
• Provide support to the project team and Ministry partners to complete and manage all required aspects of the project including documentation.
• Work with project team to ensure successful delivery for the Public Safety Radio Network (PSRN) project.
Experience and Skill Set Requirements

• Supporting the PSRN Program by proactively identifying, communicating, and managing multi-faceted client-facing risks and issues to deliver a superior customer service experience and
to support efficient and effective project delivery.
• Interacting directly with ministry clients, business partners, and project team members to
develop and maintain strong ongoing relationships, always looking for opportunities to improve client satisfaction
• Developing and presenting ministry-specific dashboards, reports, and other project management collateral
• Proactively identifying risks and issues pertaining to the assigned work package, report them to the overall Project Champions and the Portfolio Team. Identify and mitigate strategies and
responses to the issues and risks.
• Managing vendors, stakeholders, and peer groups across ministries.
• Creating or supporting development of project artifacts, associated documentation, Briefing Notes, Change Requests, Contracts, Request for Bid (RFBs) etc.
• Ensure project implementation plans have no adverse impact to public safety operations.
• Financial management of project as necessary or if needed
• Developing complex network implementation and or transition and migration strategies with cross stream dependencies including vendor activities
• Developing and implementing network implementation and or transition plans
• Managing large-scale, complex, integrated project plans
• Knowledge of radio and/or telecommunications systems.
• Effective communication skills to take complex information and present issues in a clear logical manner.
• Identify and analyze issues and problems and make appropriate recommendations for resolutions.
• Experience with facilitating meetings and creating and managing associated documents including minutes and action items.
• Effective communication and consultation skills to build and manage relationships.
• Proficiency in creating and managing project schedules using MS Project and Excel.
• Knowledgeable in Project Management principles and methodologies.
• At least 7 years of experience in project management with at least 3 years of demonstrated experience in managing large scale public safety radio or telecommunication infrastructure projects.
• Experience in OPS radio/telecommunication project management
• All roles procured are required to be cleared through the Contractor Security Clearance Process of the OPS.

• Reasonable knowledge of industry standards and methodologies
• IT project management experience managing all phases (concept, definition, planning, implementation, and closeout) of large scale, complex IT projects.
• Demonstrated experience identifying and evaluating specific issues or risks, providing options analysis, and recommending action plans to mitigate the risks.
• Demonstrated experience with project management tools, such as, MS Project, Clarity/Planview or equivalents for standard status reporting.
• Experience creating and maintaining project management artefacts/project collaterals, such as, meeting minutes, project plans, briefing notes, Change Requests.
• Experience with meeting facilitation, meeting minute creation, action item follow-ups.
• Experience working with both the business users and technology / infrastructure teams.
• Experience creating various levels of reports (e.g. executive, summary, status, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience managing project schedules using MS Project and MS Project Online.
• Demonstrated experience of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio), SharePoint, PowerBI
• Provide the necessary input into Technical Readiness, Service Readiness and Operations to ensure a successful handoff from implementation to operations. This includes input into service
management processes, asset lifecycle, collection of CI attributes, sparing and patching.

Public safety radio or telecommunications infrastructure experience in a large public sector entity
• Strong experience of working on/in public safety radio/ telecommunication infrastructure domain. Experience of related large and complex projects with over $ 500 Million budget.
• Experience of projects involving, network design, network implementation, civil structures, user equipment distribution and operations.
• Experience with projects involving large number of users (over 20,000), meeting their business requirements, training and communications needs etc.
• Demonstrated experience of working with multiple stakeholders in a broader public sector (BPS) environment.
• Knowledge and experience both in strategic and operational public sector governance models, experience managing complex, multi-unit, multi-stakeholder, and multiple levels of public sector
executive stakeholder project team,
• Demonstrated experience developing mutually beneficial relationships with public sector entities.

• Ability to identify issues or problems, gather relevant information and perform analysis and build reports to support decision-making on project scope, schedule, cost

Must Haves:
At least 7 years of experience in project management with at least 3 years of demonstrated experience in managing large scale public safety radio or telecommunication infrastructure projects.
