Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Junior ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior ServiceNow Developer, you will work closely with senior developers and project managers to design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions to meet our organization’s needs. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior developers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Assist in the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow applications and solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Configure and customize ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, and CMDB to meet business needs.
Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, forms, reports, and dashboards to optimize processes and improve user experience.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow applications, integrations, and workflows.
Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates, best practices, and industry trends to recommend improvements and enhancements.
Document technical designs, development tasks, and support procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain system documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, support, and business units, to ensure alignment of ServiceNow solutions with organizational goals and objectives.
Support end-users by providing training, technical assistance, and troubleshooting support as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
1-2 years of experience in software development, preferably with exposure to ServiceNow development.
Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with IT service management processes and concepts.
Experience with ServiceNow development tools such as Studio, ATF, and Flow Designer is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Self-motivated and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
ServiceNow certification(s) (e.g., Certified Application Developer) is desirable but not required.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
